Act 4 scene 1

In this scene the characters are first witch second witch and third witch they are invovled with Macbeth because Macbeth wants to know his future he is so eager he dosent even mind whether it’s to do with his death. “I conjur you’is by howe’er you come to know it answer me.” That’s how Macbeth shows he wants to see his future.

  1. I’m interested in the idea of how Macbeth has changed since first meeting the witches. Look again at your chosen quotation – does Macbeth address the witches respectfully? Why? How might this affect him later – what clues have we already been given about this?
