In scene 2 it shows how Macbeth feels guilty for killing Duncan, “will all great Neptunes ocean wash this blood clean from my hand?”, as Macbeth said. When he says this it makes me think really hard because he’s saying a rhitorical question that he knows the answer too.He has realised that what he done was wrong so he askes the god of the sea “Neptune” to wash his hands free of what he has done because he regrets killing Duncan and now he has a guilty consouince.

Targets
1) Always re-read and edit spelling
2) Always re-read and edit sentence length/structure – where should those full stops go? Why?
3) You have rightfully begun to explore why Macbeth asks Neptune for help, but this is not yet finished. What might this show about Macbeth’s guilt? Why?
